Snowbirds are a very popular phenomenon in New York. Many New Yorkers who fly down to Florida every winter, to escape the cold winters, and head back up to NY to avoid the hot Floridian summers. When Chari did a girly doodle for Eli to lend his voice to, she thought she'd stumped him for sure. Eli's probably about as opposite as you can get from looking or sounding like a girly girl. If you haven't met Eli in person, let's just say his 5 o'clock shadow pops on his face about five minutes after shaving (almost as fast as Homer J. Simpson's).  Yet, she was shocked when Eli came back with this script and this voice! Check it out, we're sure you'll be as impressed as Chari was!

Chari's funny doodle gave Eli a LOT to work with this time. He's clearly not very amused, and Eli wondered how he got the cape on without arms. Seemed to him that someone was playing a joke on this poor guy.

Welcome to Drawing Aloud, the blog created by husband/wife duo Eli Schiff & Chari Pere. We are NY transplants currently living life in a new big city (Los Angeles). Since Eli does voiceover work and Chari does comics, we figured it would be fun to combine our powers for a project!

Who doesn't love a good ninja? You know we do! And since Chari likes to experiment with different characters, she drew this guy. Eli thought that this character was fun and added some pipes. Let us know what you think! =0)
